Until I started doing this work in 2016, I really had no understanding of how our own minds are often the biggest impediment to us having the kinds of personal and professional lives we strive for.

I’ve had thousands of conversations with people and probably learned as much about humans in the last 8 years as I did in the 60 years before that. It has been so, so gratifying.

I’ve learned that almost everyone has at least one internal thing they fight with. They often feel it but can’t really explain it to themselves. It’s very hard for humans to understand themselves.

Or they know what it is but think “it’s just them” and suffer through it. They assume there’s nothing to be done about it, or maybe they don’t want to discuss it anyway.

I think assessments are invaluable in this regard. I don’t mean personality assessments, where you get some cutesy 4 letter description of yourself that might be accurate but never answers the “now what” question. I mean assessments that get at specific issues so we can set a target for ourselves.

On this site we offer a lot of simple, free assessments. They’re not the most scientific things but they might be enough to help you get a handle on an issue you deal with. We also offer very sophisticated assessments from Judgment Index, based on science created by a Nobel Prize nominee over 60 years ago.

And then we offer Peak Pathways to help you work on whatever you decide is important to you.

I know not everyone has the time or money for long drawn-out coaching sessions. I created Peak Pathways because I have used the concept informally and seen it work, so I wanted to make it available to everyone on a very low cost basis.
